Our History

HomeCare Rehab & Nursing was founded in 2001 by Dr. John Baker PT. With his extensive experience in home health physical therapy, John saw an opportunity to meet some valuable needs in the home health community that existing agencies were not able to provide. After discharge from home health services, many patients in the community were not able to continue physical and occupational therapy in the outpatient setting. The inconvenience and effort was just too great. HCRN was developed as an outpatient provider of therapy services in the home, and it caught on fast.

HCRN soon began providing contract therapy services for area home health agencies and is now one of the largest home therapy providers in Maryland.

In order to meet the more specific needs of seniors across the spectrum of rehabilitation services, HomeCare Rehab and Wellness LLC separated into two entities: HomeCare Rehab and Wellness and Senior Rehab and Wellness Centers.
