At last, an outpatient therapy clinic designed to meet the needs of seniors. THE SETTING:
Senior Rehab and Wellness Center is the answer to prayers of "older" adults in the community. When a senior needs physical or occupational therapy in an outpatient setting, it can sometimes be intimidating or stressful to attend a large sports rehab or hospital based clinic. SRWC houses the same equipment you'd find in a traditional outpatient center. We have equipment for strengthening, stretching, heating, cooling, exercising, balancing, and coordinating. SRWC was designed to provide individualized, one on one care in a smaller, more personal setting. Access to the Center is easy and only a short distance from the parking lot.
THE STAFF:
SRWC therapists are the best in the business. Having spent years honing their skills, our therapists are experts in applying evidenced-based practices to rehabilitate age-related challenges and deficits due to injury or disease. SRWC therapists boast expertise in cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, and neurologic dysfunction. And perhaps most importantly, we are really nice people.
THE SERVICES:
Across the spectrum of outpatient rehabilitation, we can meet almost any need. Some of our specialty areas include:
THE FOLLOW UP:
Many outpatient therapy centers will provide discharge instructions or a home exercise program for the client to continue at home. This may not always be the most effective way to instruct exercises meant to be performed on your own. We will provide the client with a video taped DVD of the client doing the exercises with the therapist to take home. This has proven to be a helpful method of improving compliance with home exercise programs. Come try it for yourself.

info@SeniorRehabAndWellness.comFrank is the name of my 82 year old Dad. He is aptly named, for he can be "frank" to the point of rudeness. His physical therapist has made the effort to look past his crusty exterior and relates to him with dignity and humor. We are thankful for the progress my Dad is making. Judging from their playful banter, I believe Dad looks forward to P.T. We love Teresa and appreciate all that she does.
